Greetings from The National Committee on the Observation of International
Rural Women’s Day (IRWD)!

We are pleased to inform you that, on the eve of the IRWD 2023 we are going
to organize a virtual press conference *on 14 October, 2022, Saturday at
11.00 am. *



As you know, 15 October is the International Rural Women Day (IRWD). The
National IRWD Observation Committee is observing this day both in the
national and local levels. Around 60 district committees are observing this
day in 60 districts with press conferences, rallies and award giving
ceremonies. It is to be noted that national and local NGOs are observing
these days from their own initiative, from their own fund. This year the
main focus of the day is the *“**Awareness building and effective measures
by social media are needed to curb cybercrime against women.  ”*
