Greetings from The National Committee on the Observation of International
Rural Women’s Day (IRWD)!

We are pleased to inform you that, on the eve of the IRWD 2022 we are going
to organize a virtual press conference *on 14 October, 2022, Friday at
11.00 am. *



As you know that, 15 October is the International Rural Women Day (IRWD).
The National IRWD Observation Committee is observing this day both in the
national and local levels. 64 district committees are observing this day in
64 districts with press conference, rally and award giving ceremonies. It
is to be noted that national and local NGOs are observing this days from
their own initiative, from their own fund. This year the main focus of the
day is the *“**Climate Change and Multifaceted Risks for Women: Need for
Immediate Action, NOW!”*
