 Dear Friends in Media ,

Greetings from CCNF .

We are inviting you to participate in a virtual [Online] Press conference
titled "Localization of Rohingya [Forcibly Displaced Myanmar National -
FDMN] Relief Program and Democratic ownership". The event will start
through Zoom online on 06 March [Sunday] at 11.00am to 12.00pm.

You know that the international NGOs working in Bangladesh have prepared a
"Joint Response Plan 2022" [JRP-2022] for FDMN [Forcibly Displaced Myanmar
National] relief and rehabilitation. So far we understand that this is
hardly address the repatriation of FDMN along with saving the country's
interest that ease the current pressure for our government. We have raised
our same voice earlier on such ineffective JRP where democratic ownership
is absent.

We have arranged the press conference on these issues and want to raise our
voice on the latest JRP-2022 demanding to revise the JRP in a participatory
way and to prepare an effective plan that will ensure democratic ownership
and save the country's interest in addressing the Rohingya issues.
