Greetings from BDCSO Process .

You know  well that various parts of the country have been devastated by
the catastrophic floods. The floods in the Haor region in particular have
caused one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in memory. The local
people and the local organizations are the first to stand by the people
affected by this catastrophe.

Various international organizations are assessing the needs related to
post-flood rehabilitation, they may also raise funds for this. We welcome
this initiative. But we think that the activities of international
organizations should be limited to raising funds, ensuring technical
assistance and monitoring. Local organizations have to take the lead in
implementing the program at the field level.

To present the position and recommendations of the Bangladeshi CSO-NGO
representatives on the relevant issues, we are going to organize a virtual
press conference, tomorrow on 4th July 2022 . We would like to request the
