Greetings from COAST Foundation!

You have already informed that during this COVID-19 pandemic and clouser of
the schools, the child marriage rates has been increased significantly in
the country. And, the media reported that around 40% of students may not
join school. Following that backdrop, child marriage rates
also increased in Cox's Bazar district alarmingly. Considering that issue,
COAST recently has done a study on child marriage situation and found it
has highly* increased in Eidgaon and Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s Bazar
District. *

To disseminate the findings, COAST is going to organise a Virtual Press
Conference on 2 October, 2021 from 11.00am- 12.00pm. You are highly
