Dear Friends in Media,

Greetings from EquityBD.

You know that the World Bank recently offered a loan for Bangladesh for
the development of the Host Community in Cox’s Bazar that are adversely
affected by the Rohingya Influx and Humanitarian Operations for them.

We raise our voices to say that the Rohingya Crisis is not the sole
responsibility of Bangladesh. Instead, this is the responsibility of
everyone and Bangladesh on the Humanitarian Grounds took the
responsibility. On no condition should Bangladesh be offered a loan for
this.

To protest this we organised a Human Chain tomorrow, 8 June 2024, at 10.30 AM in front of the National Press Club.

You are cordially invited to the event to cover the issue in your popular media.
